Every November I tell myself I need to start making costumes in June. Every October I spend all my free time sewing to get costumes done by all the festivities. I do love making them and that's why I do it every year. My new goal is to branch out and make skirts or dresses for my girls to wear all year long. There are plenty of awesome women around me that sew amazing things, we will see how far I get.
This year we stuck with a Peter Pan theme. It was the only time Jed will ever let me put tights on his boy. I gave a great sales pitch to Ellie earlier this year trying to get her to be Wendy (so we would be slightly more proportionate). I did such a good job, both girls wanted to be Wendy. Sarah did not want to be Tinkerbell even with the shoes, sparkles and wings. I wish I could remember the exact sales pitch I could use it for so many other things. In the end everyone was happy and we all had a great holiday.

I can't believe you sew all of that Ang! You are awesome and amazing! I have yet to post Halloween pictures! I am a bit behind!!
Holy Cow!! You are the coolest mom!! You made those cute costumes. Your kids are so lucky!
Those costumes are gorgeous and even better looking in person. You amaze me. I am still afraid of the costume sewing because of all that crazy fabric. You did it well. Love the little details - Peter Pans knife and the slippers on Tink
I didn't know you had a blog! I love Sam's costume and the girls' dresses, I had no idea you were a seamstress. Well done, they all look darling. p.s. I'll need to get your email so I can invite you to our blog (I know, so lame to be private).
You are my sewing hero but a lame blogger.... Miss you!!! Post more often!
